Local Business Schema Generator

Structured data describes your business to search engines in a standard format: name, address, phone, opening hours and more. Fill in the form to generate LocalBusiness JSON-LD that follows Google's documented properties, then add it to your homepage or location page.

Free, no sign-up. Runs in your browser: nothing you enter is stored or sent to us.

What the generator produces

A single <script type="application/ld+json"> block describing your business with the schema.org type you chose. It follows the properties in Google’s local business structured data documentation:

  • Required: name and a full PostalAddress.
  • Recommended: telephone with country code, the URL of the location page, geo coordinates (at least 5 decimal places), opening hours in 24-hour format, and price range (under 100 characters).
  • Also included when provided: areaServed (for service-area businesses), image and sameAs links to your official profiles.

Days with the same hours are grouped into one OpeningHoursSpecification. A closing time earlier than the opening time is treated as open past midnight, as Google describes.

How to add it to your site

  1. Copy the code.
  2. Paste it into the page it describes: the homepage for a single-location business, or each location page for multi-site businesses (one block per location, with that location’s details). In WordPress, most SEO plugins and header/footer plugins let you add code to a single page.
  3. Test the live page with Google’s Rich Results Test or the Schema Markup Validator.

Rules worth following

  • Only mark up information that is visible on the page and true. The details should match your Google Business Profile exactly; check them with the NAP Consistency Checker.
  • Do not add review stars about your own business. Google only supports review markup for local businesses on sites that review other businesses.
  • Pick the most specific business type that genuinely applies; “LocalBusiness” is fine if none fits.

Structured data helps Google understand and display your details, but it is not a ranking shortcut. Pair it with the basics in our local SEO guide.
